Auto charge the card

Soham Ambore

You can now allow clients to securely save their payment details during checkout, making it easier than ever to settle future invoices.

The Problem

Previously, clients had to manually enter their card details for every single invoice. This created unnecessary friction, especially for businesses with long-term relationships or recurring billing cycles.

The Solution

With this update, your clients can save their payment method for their first transaction. Once stored, admins can charge the saved card directly for any future invoices.

Example: If you bill a client monthly, they only need to enter their details once. For every month after that, you can process the payment in just a few clicks, no client action required.

Why is it useful

  • Reduces repeated effort for clients making recurring payments.

  • Speeds up invoice payments and improves collection time.

  • Minimizes friction in long-term client relationships.

  • Prevents errors by keeping charging under admin control rather than automatic billing.

Earlier, while creating an invoice, you could only select one project at a time. Hence, if you worked on multiple projects for the same client, you had to create separate invoices for each project, which could be time-consuming and messy.

With this new update, you can now select multiple projects for a single invoice, as long as those projects belong to the same client and use the same currency. This lets you combine all the work you've done into one clean invoice.

This is helpful when you handle multiple small projects for one client and would like to send one consolidated invoice for all the completed work across all the projects.

It also reduces the number of invoices and makes payment easier for your client.
